Monday Warm-Up:  Are you prepared for presentations; why or why not?

 

Tuesday Warm-Up:  You find a magic lamp, what are your three wishes?

 

Wednesday Warm-Up:  You may receive a 2 hour tutoring session from anyone, alive or dead.  Who will it be, and what would you like to learn?

 

Thursday Warm-Up:  Robots have taken over the world and outlawed technology.  How will you survive under their rule?  Write or draw your response.

 

Friday Warm-Up:  Mr. Doyle will not take make-up work after June 12.  What grade do you have, and are you happy with that grade?  You have one week to change it.

 

Agenda:

Students will give presentations and grade one another's presentations.

ELA.8.SL.C13.2 
    Search
    analyze the purpose of information presented in diverse media and formats (e.g., visually, quantitatively, orally) and evaluate the motives (e.g., social, commercial, political) behind its presentation. (CCSS SL.8.2)

    Search  
    present claims and findings, emphasizing salient points in a focused, coherent manner with relevant evidence, sound valid reasoning and well-chosen details; use appropriate eye contact, adequate volume and clear pronunciation. (CCSS SL.8.4)
