Remember your FANBOYS? Read the following sentences and re-write them in your notebooks with a conjunction connecting the two sentences. The sentence must make sense! Don’t throw in a conjunction without thinking about it. Some slight changes to the sentences may occur.
- 1. Would you like to go to the movies? Would you rather stay home tonight?
- 2. Mr. Doyle’s new coffee maker is really great. He drinks too much coffee.
- 3. You will not like Hulk when he is angry. You will not like Hulk when he turns green.
- 4. Korra was able to defeat Zaheer. Korra changed in the process.
- 5. The next season of Arrow is going to be awesome! The Flash gets his own TV show!
- 6. I spend a lot of time watching TV shows. I have a lot of favorite shows.
- 7. I may not get much sleep at night. I always find a way to get out of bed.
- 8. All of my students will pass my class. All of my students will go to college.
